Original bug ID: 1117 Reporter: administrator Status: closed Resolution: not a bug Priority: normal Severity: minor Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
I noticed that the email address you enter when making a bug report (this bug
tracking system I use now) is fully exposed. First time I used this bug report
page I entered my personal email address. Nowdays it is just a matter of time
when an exposed address is read by some *"¤%& webbot and you get tons of spam.
If I would have discovered that email addresses are exposed I would at least
have entered my "forum and registration"-address as I do now...
Would it be possible to have some script hiding the actual address but enabling
a surfer to click a button and still send a message, not knowing about the email
address (I see this feature at lots of forums)?
