Original bug ID: 1321
Reporter: administrator
Status: closed
Resolution: not a bug
Priority: normal
Severity: minor
Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)

Bug description

Full_Name: Nicolas Cannasse
Version: 3.05
OS: Windows 2000
Submission from: abordeaux-201-1-2-58.abo.wanadoo.fr (80.13.116.58)

When compiling a large file, I bumped into a OCamlopt Stack Overflow.
This behavior can be reproducted by compiling in 'opt' mode the last release of
OCam'OLE ( at http://tech.motion-twin.com ). The SO occurs when compiling the
excel.ml file generated by Olegen.exe.
Ocamlc is working well on the same source file.
Same behavior with Ocamlopt 3.04

Regards,
NC

Resource exhaustion is not a bug.

ocamlopt fait des choses compliquées, et sur des entrées de grande
taille, a besoin de ressources mémoire. Rien d'anormal ici.
Tu peux essayer d'augmenter la taille maximale de pile via la variable
OCAMLRUNPARAM.
