OS: Windows 98
Submission from: jamesh.volition.net (205.198.255.59)
The graphical interface to the Caml system is very nice on the Macintosh, but
the OCaml application for Windows is very clunky and dated looking. Of note:
(1) the font is too large, unaesthetic, and cannot be changed; (2) input and
output are divided into three windows where one would be enough; (3) error
messages textually reference the point of the error ("Characters 16-20"),
instead of simply highlighting the offending text. The Mac interface does not
have any of these problems.
