Bug description

Hi,

I've just hit yet another bug in float-num conversion in CAML Light 0.74
with float_of_num applied to 49/1073741824. The same code works fine in
OCaml, so has probably been fixed for both versions in the time since
0.74 was released.

Are there any plans for a bugfix release of CAML Light? Version 0.74 is
about 5 years old. If not, can I get access to the working version? For
compatibility, I sometimes need to use CAML Light.

Thanks,

John.

There is a Unix-only bug fix release, version 0.75, dated january 2002:
http://caml.inria.fr/distrib/cl75unix.tar.gz
although I don't know if it fixes the bug you've encountered.

Apart from this, the Caml Light working sources are available via
anonymous CVS from http://camlcvs.inria.fr/cvsserver-eng.html.

Cheers,

There is a new 0.75 version which is available in source code: pick it
in the usual place (cl75unix.tar.gz in ftp.inria.fr/lang/caml-light/).

This version has no known bug.

See Caml Light 0.75 release and anonymous CVS repository. The bug in question
should be fixed in 0.75.
