Original bug ID: 1492
Reporter: administrator
Status: closed
Resolution: fixed
Priority: normal
Severity: minor
Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)

Bug description

Believe it or not, the trailing dot in the "Node:" line of the file
ocaml.info-1 in the ocaml-3.06-refman.info.tar causes problems.

With the original line,

Node: Top, Next: Part I, Up: (dir).

when I hit "u" from the top level ocaml info page, in order to return
to my info directory, I get an error, "No such anchor in tag table or
node in tag table or file: .". When the dot is removed:

Node: Top, Next: Part I, Up: (dir)

it works, and I can return up to my info directory.

I'm running emacs 21.2.1. The entry in my info dir file is:

  • OCAML: (ocaml) . The OCAML Programming Language

Trivial, but annoying.
Thanks.
