Original bug ID: 1621 Reporter: administrator Status: closed Resolution: fixed Priority: normal Severity: minor Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
Bug description
The documentation for the Thread libraries (3.06 distribution) implies
that the libraries are not supported in native code under Windows. At
least in my mingw installation, they seem to work fine. It would be
great if this were clearer. I almost suffered a heart attack before
realizing this, as I needed to do non-blocking I/O in native code
without Cygwin and the documentation for the Unix library said I
needed threads!
