Original bug ID: 1723 Reporter: administrator Status: closed Resolution: not a bug Priority: normal Severity: minor Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
Bug description
Full_Name: Steve Salkin
Version: OCaml 3.06
OS: cygwin on xp
Submission from: c-24-99-91-117.atl.client2.attbi.com (24.99.91.117)
Just built the interpreter using make world; make bootstrap; make opt
Most everything seems to work fine, I define and run factorial etc.
Here's the problem I see with floating point numbers:
3 + 2 ;;
: int = 5
3.0 + 2.0
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
3.0 + 2
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
3.0 +. 2.0
this one just sits forever (apparently; halting problem and all)
I don't see any errors in the compile log, which I am happy to provide.
