Bug description

Submission from: mpiat2304.ag2.mpi-sb.mpg.de (139.19.20.93)

Hi,

I've tried building the ocaml sdk on solaris 9 with sun's make, and it breaks
down quite quickly, since the makefiles are GNU makefiles, instead of being
'pure' make files.

Since you're already using autoconf, it would be very nice if you could start
using automake as well. In case you haven't heard of it, automake is a very easy
to use makefile generator. The generated makefiles run on most Unix platforms
and most makes without such problems, and aren't limited to GNU make.

thanks for making this useful tool, and I hope you can make it even better ;)

The user should use GNU make.
