entering the following in the interpreter:

module M=struct x=0 end
exception M
M.f

gives a non-zero number for M.f!
didn't happen with the compiler though.

Fixed in 3.07beta1 (same fix as #8133)

Right, it's an amusing bug in 3.06. It is fixed in 3.07beta1 already.
