Bug description
Full_Name: Hugo Herbelin
Version: 3.07
OS: linux
Submission from: herbelin.net1.nerim.net (62.212.105.93)
Chers developpeurs,
This is not really a bug but ocamldebug 3.07 behaves differently has
3.06 wrt load_printer, and since it is not mentioned in the Changes
file and it induces renaming of our files, we'd like to know if it is
intended or not. Thanks in advance (our apologies if this is a
known change or if it has already been reported).
We have a file named symbols.ml which apparently now conflicts
with the eponymous file from the ocaml distribution.
Error during code loading: interface mismatch on Symbols
After renaming of our file, it goes well.
In ocaml 3.06, load_printer was recursive. It is apparently not
the case any longer et we have to explicitly load all needed .cmo
(or .cma). Is is intended, typically to solve another problem?
Besides, I haven't closely look at all the novelties of ocaml 3.07,
but we particularly appreciate the fact that the .cmo of files of
which the only compilation dependency was in types are no longer
required in .cma. Thanks.
