Original bug ID: 3604 Reporter: administrator Status: closed Resolution: fixed Priority: normal Severity: minor Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
I tried compiling OCaml on i386 with gcc-4.0 beta (this is a Fedora Core 4 beta2
system). The compilation of the num library failed due to complaints from gcc
about registers around some asm inline code.
fix: set BNG_ASM_LEVEL to 0
I don't know enough about the pecularities of gcc's register allocation to
further delve into this.
