Original bug ID: 4780
Reporter: db
Assigned to: @garrigue
Status: closed (set by @garrigue on 2009-05-01T09:37:17Z)
Resolution: fixed
Priority: normal
Severity: minor
Version: 3.11.0+beta
Fixed in version: 3.11.1+dev
Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
Monitored by: @alainfrisch

Bug description

The following command fails:

../../../boot/ocamlrun ../../../tools/ocamlmklib -ocamlc '../../../ocamlcomp.sh' -o labltk \ (...)

'../../../ocamlcomp.sh' is not a valid Windows command. Probably it should be 'sh -c ../../../ocamlcomp.sh'

Thanks for your report. Now I know why the script was disabled after the flexdll merge.
However, it is enough to use the bytecode compilers with ocamlmklib.

release311 branch still does not compile. Probably you have fixed HEAD only?

No, I really fixed release311, but IIRC there is a delay of a few hours before fixes appear in the anonymous cvs (i.e. commiters and anonymous users do not access the same repository)

Probably so. Is it possible to see recent commits? Trivial with Subversion, but not with CVS (don't you like to migrate Ocaml repository to Subversion? :-) Anyway, now I am able to compile release311. Thanks!
