| Subject: | Interpreter vs hardware threads |
Does anyone know how fast the ocaml bytecode interpreter 'switches' between threads (that is, what is the scheduling overhead?) Assume most of the threads are waiting (say, on a condition variable). Asume LOTS of threads (thousands).
