Hello

I'm pleased to announce the new release of OCamlODBC (2.0), an interface
between OCaml and databases with ODBC support.
By now tested databases are :
- MySQL under Linux,
- Postgresql under Linux,
- OpenIngres under Sun Solaris 2.5,
but compiling for other databases should work also, if there are
the correct ODBC .h files (which come generally with the ODBC 
libraries of each database).

If you managed to use it with other databases, and if you needed
to make some modifications to do so, let me know so we can
include your modifications in a next version :-)
By the way, is anyone interested in trying to compile
and make a binary distrib for Windows ?

J'ai le plaisir d'annoncer la nouvelle version de OCamlODBC (2.0),
une interface entre OCaml et les bases de données supportant le
protocole ODBC. Pour l'instant, j'ai pu la tester avec :
- MySQL sous Linux,
- Postgresql sous Linux,
- OpenIngres sous Sun Solaris 2.5,
mais compiler pour d'autres bases ne devrait pas poser de problème,
tant qu'il y a les bons .h (qui sont générallement livrés avec
les bibliothèques ODBC de chaque base).

Si vous avez réussi à l'utiliser avec d'autres bases, et si vous
avez pour cela dû faire quelques adaptations, faites-le
moi savoir afin que l'on puisse les inclure dans une prochaine 
version :-)
Au passage, quelqu'un souhaiterait-il compiler la bibliothèque
sous Windows et en faire une distrib déjà compilée ?
