This proposal looks perfect to me.

I've also noticed in the manual that all of the multi-line comment
examples are like this:

 (**  line 1
      line 2
      line 3 *)

Will there be any issues with writing comments like this?

 (** line 1
  *  line 2
  *  line 3
  *)
