Olivier,

AFAIK, there's not built-in optimisation for G4 processors in the Ocaml 
compiler.
I have one student working this year on the implementation of a 
vector-based (altivec)
array processing module in Ocaml for G4 platforms. The project has just 
started.
Ring me again in July if you want to get a report.
