Subject: | [Caml-list] link error |
Arggg: No implementations provided for the following modules: Flx_cil_machdep_type referenced from src/flxlib.cmxa(Flx_cil_cil) Flx_cil_cabs referenced from src/flxlib.cmxa(Flx_cil_cabs2cil) Both the LHS files mentioned do not HAVE an implementation quite deliberately, they consist exclusively of type definitions. What's new here: I say module X = Flx_cil_machdep_type ... let x = m.X.field_name instead of just open Flx_cil_machdep_type If I change it to module type X = Flx_cil_machdep_type I get an unbound module error. The 'open' option is NOT available to me, it causes a conflict. I'm now forced to copy my type definition files to useless *.ml files -- maintenance nightmare. [Luckily I have a literate programming tool which can handle it .. :[ -- John Skaller, mailto:skaller@users.sf.net voice: 061-2-9660-0850, snail: PO BOX 401 Glebe NSW 2037 Australia Checkout the Felix programming language http://felix.sf.net ------------------- To unsubscribe, mail caml-list-request@inria.fr Archives: http://caml.inria.fr Bug reports: http://caml.inria.fr/bin/caml-bugs FAQ: http://caml.inria.fr/FAQ/ Beginner's list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ocaml_beginners
