Which gets back to the Cathedral/Bazaar problem:
there are plenty of people including me with
reentant Ocaml-only FFAU licenced solutions.
We could probably even agree on a spec, implementation,
and Ocaml LGPL+X licence .. but could we get that solution
into the standard distro?
