YaM was written by Damien Pous: http://perso.ens-lyon.fr/damien.pous/shared/ocaml/YaM/ I tried it some time ago and found it very interesting, but need to be improved (support of different platforms, more targets, etc.). I began to study it and had not the time to continue.
