Bug description
Full_Name: James Matter
Version: CamlLight V0.74 for Windows
OS: Windows XP
Submission from: avenue.plus.com (212.159.5.49)
Installer will not run under windows XP. Error is 'INSTW caused a General
Protection Fault in module CAMLL~1.EXE at 0001:0BD6. Choose close. INSTW will
close.' with a single button, 'Close'. This error occurs every time the
installer is run. If I try to run the executable (installed previously under
Windows 98), I get an error 'No bytecode file specified' and the program
closes.
Any help would be appreciated - I know that if you try to run an executable from
a previous install of windows even when under Windows 98, you get the same 'No
bytecode file specified' error - is it possible to manually specify the bytecode
file and how would I go about doing this?
