Original bug ID: 2311 Reporter: administrator Status: closed Resolution: fixed Priority: normal Severity: minor Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
Bug description
These notes would be handy to have in the INSTALL file for macOS X. I
have the developer's studio installed.
POSIX threads seem to be conflictingly implemented on MacOS X. There's
a conflict over symbol thread_t with system include
/usr/include/mach/mach_types.h. The -no-pthread option to configure
seems to fix that, although I suppose the collateral loss of pthreads
functionality might bug some people (I'm just running Unison, so I
don't think I'll have any problem).
