Original bug ID: 5273
Reporter: rbonichon

Status: resolved (set by @mshinwell on 2016-12-07T15:58:36Z)
Resolution: fixed
Priority: normal
Severity: feature
Version: 3.12.0
Category: ~DO NOT USE (was: OCaml general)
Tags: patch
Related to: #5209

Bug description

The configure script for 3.12.0 disables natdynlink on all hardware, though x86 and amd64 platform were supported in 3.11.2 and are still functional with the 3.12.0 release.

The attached patch is the one used in OpenBSD ports.

Additional information

This is the OpenBSD version of bug 0005209 (on FreeBSD). I suspect the same issue arises on NetBSD and DragonflyBSD. A patch in the same vein for these targets should remedy that as well.

I think relevant changes have now been included in the distribution.
