Summary0005862: Wish : Create closure from C
DescriptionI use a lot of the Ocaml/C interface and I would like to use some ocaml-side higher-order functions from C.
Thus, I'd like to see some C library functions for closure manipulation : creation from C function pointer; currying; ... This would be a great complement to the already existing callback mechanism.

This looks like a non-trivial amount of work.

There has been no progress on this issue for three years and it remains a non-trivial amount of work. As such I am going to close this issue. If the lack of this functionality still causes a problem then we would be pleased to receive a Github PR with a proposed implementation.
