For information, the ocamlbuild man page does not mention options such as -use-ocamlfind, -use-menhir, -use-jocaml and maybe others.

You are indeed very right. I have "update the man pages" somewhere on my TODO list, but it never got enough priority. If someone was willing to contribute a better manpage in time for the 4.03 release (early 2016, so aiming for a contribution in December would be nice), that would be great.

In the meantime, I think you may find what you are looking for in the draft of a new manual for OCamlbuild that I have written in the last year:
https://github.com/gasche/manual-ocamlbuild/blob/master/manual.md
In particular, it lists all the command-line options accepted by ocamlbuild today.

This manual has the opposite problem from the manpage: I have been improving some usability corners of ocamlbuild as I wrote it, so a (very) small portion of the features it describes are describing the development version of ocamlbuild, not the last (4.02.3) release. The release in early 2016 should fix that mismatch. I'm only pointing this out for completeness, in practice you should not see a difference, except that the user-directed messages are more complete in the development version.

ocamlbuild is now a separate project that lives on GitHub.

PR transferred to ocaml/ocamlbuild#144
