Original bug ID: 7575
Reporter: @dbuenzli
Status: resolved (set by @Octachron on 2017-07-10T18:29:46Z)
Resolution: fixed
Priority: normal
Severity: feature
Fixed in version: 4.06.0 +dev/beta1/beta2/rc1
Category: compiler driver

Bug description

It seems that there is the beginning of an agreement at the end of the discussion in #6311 that maybe it would be better to have -keep-locs rather than -no-keep-locs as a default argument as it provides better end-user error report.

It seems better if by default the compiler tries to output the best error messages as possible.
