]> Readers of this list may be interested in this project written in OCaml: I am pleased to announce the initial release of IBAL, a general purpose language for probabilistic reasoning. IBAL is highly expressive, and its inference algorithm generalizes many common frameworks as well as allowing many new ones. It also provides parameter estimation and decision making. All this is packaged in a programming language that provides libraries, automatic type checking, etc. IBAL may be downloaded from http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/~avi/IBAL.
