Hello,

I use utf-8 locale, and write comment in my sources on
russian language. So russians char has two byte representation
in source. When I compile my sources compiler recognize these
chars as two chars, so error position printed by compiler
is in bytes not in chars, so emacs command goto-char put cursor
in wron position.

Who that faced with a similar problem? How it can be solved?
