The Objective Caml distribution

Version 3.06

This version was released 2002-08-20 and is not the most recent; see also the current version.

Direct access to the release directory via FTP and HTTP. Check file integrity using the MD5 checksums.

Source distribution for the OCaml compilers and base libraries (.tar.gz format). Include the Unix, Win32 and Macintosh sources.
patches and installation instructions for OCaml on Mac OS X.
Source RPM for the OCaml compilers and libraries, ready to compile under Linux RedHat, Mandrake, and LinuxPPC.
Source RPM for Linux RedHat 9.

Precompiled binaries:

For Linux:

Several Linux distributions include precompiled binaries for OCaml, e.g. Debian, Mandrake, and RedHat. These binaries are often less up-to-date but more nicely packaged than ours. See also rpmfind.net.

For MS Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, 95:

Native Win32 port, self-installing. Includes simple toplevel GUI, but some features require Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft Assembler.
Cygwin-based and Mingw-based ports. Do not require additional Microsoft software, but lacks the toplevel GUI. Require the Cygwin environment. We do not distribute binaries; please download the source distribution and compile it yourself under Cygwin.

For Mac OS:

In PDF (free PDF viewers are available from Adobe).
In Postscript (compressed with gzip).
In DVI (compressed with gzip).

The HTML version can be viewed online from the Caml Web site.

CVS access to the source tree:

Read-only CVS access to the whole Objective Caml and Caml Light sources (including working sources and all public releases) is available through our anonymous CVS server.
